Rosie was playing quietly in the garage and I was inside, being a lazy housewife, reading a book. It seemed awfully quiet out there, so I opened the door and peeked out. She was sitting on the steps with the cat. She was looking a bit guilty.
I sat down next to her, she handed me the cat, who was purring but looking a bit wild. I noticed something odd on Rosie's ear-- blood? A well-deserved cat scratch? I went to wipe it away and a chunk of something came off in my hand.
It was a cat tooth.
Rosie said, "I'm a dentist!"

I just laughed so hard I couldn't breathe. Maybe she has found her life calling? Dentist? Vet? Information Extraction specialist? What a gal.
OH. MY. GOSH. This one takes the cake.

Lili sent me this link and I'm (for once in my life) too stunned for words. Oh the poor kitty. Oh my word.
What a girl!! Any idea how the tooth got from cat to kid to ear?? I guess these are kittens, and so that's probably a baby tooth that was destined to come out soon anyway, but -- how did she do it?? And, well, why? Her dentist trips haven't included pulling teeth, have they??
How, why-- haven't the foggiest. She is fascinated with the dentist (the way I'm fascinated with exorcism movies and scary clowns-- I HATE them)... We just checked out a book called "never take a shark to the dentist" and the dentist has a big bloody gap where his tooth has been pulled... maybe that inspired her??
"Kid, be a dentist! You'll be a success!"
ROTFLMFO!!!!!!!!! So funny! Poor kitty!
I have kept wondering what to say about this but I'm speechless. It's like when a very young child playfully pulls out a kitten's tooth - and the kitten LIKES it.
Those two are going to get highs scratching each other, waiting for it to scab over, and slowly peeling off the scabs.
Or better yet, pulling out baby teeth when they're ripe for the pulling.
???!!!!
Very funny.
